My diploma was one of these projects you really need to do at a certain time.

Being a bboy for almost 10 years, I always wanted to document the development of this dance in a way this artform deserves. So I took the chance when I had to choose the project for my diploma. It took me quit a while to write down the texts since the book is bi-lingual (german/english). Thanks to the help of amazing photographers from all around the globe, I could make this book as authentic as I wanted it to be.
Each chapter of the book deals with one decade of the history of the dance and has its own colour scheme, from the 70′s over the 80′s, the 90′s until today. In addition to
the historic portrayal, the book also includes a DVD with worldwide footage to express what this project is all about: true love for the dance.
